Hotel Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte
The Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Berlin. The hotel offers 167 rooms all in a modern style with decor reminiscent of Wallstreet hence the name of the hotel. Also all the hotel rooms have their own bathroom with shower or bath, a flat screen TV with access to movies on demand (VOD), high-end bathroom products from the ELEMIS® brand and a mini bar as well as a safe with a code. The wifi is free and covers the entire hotel.

The Equipments : The Park Plaza Wallstreet Berlin Mitte has two rooms with a capacity of 140 guests. With an administrative meeting room on the top floor which offers a breathtaking view of the city. The hotel is also one of the main event centers in Berlin.
The hotel also has a car park for up to 27 cars, a fitness room, a sauna, and even a 50-seat cinema room.
A bar and restaurant are also present in the hotel.

Its location : hotel is right next to Spittelmarkt underground stations and the Märkisches Museum , for easy access to all surrounding attractions. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the Museum Island, the tv tower (fernsehturm), the Berlin Cathedral and also check point Charlie.

My role in the hotel
The front office: Reception
My missions : my position in the hotel is at the reception, precisely the night receptionist for the moment. Indeed, not speaking German and due to COVID, the majority of travelers being German, I could not directly ensure a position during the day. However the reception at night is very interesting and once you get into the rhythm it could not be a problem to be awake at night.
The assignments are mainly paper handling, and prepare for the day after the next day. I therefore communicate entirely in English and use the German vocabulary that I know every day to learn better.
Regarding my accommodation, in addition to being my place of work, it is also my place of life. I am lucky to be accommodated by the hotel. Which is a real plus in my surroundings and rhythm and which removes all the search for accommodation. It also saves me time and money. I am therefore staying in a double room with my bathroom in the hotel, so to have to test, I can only recommend to stay in this hotel !!
